Meal Photo Estimates
Deluxe members can use meal photos to estimate calories and macros. More detail gives Vari a better starting point.
Open Meal Photo Estimates, then send “Hello” in the chat to begin. Follow with your request using the steps and example below. Opening the link alone does not send your request or confirm delivery.
Show your meal
Send a clear photo. Include the restaurant and dish name if you know them.
Describe the portions
Tell Vari the ingredients, portion sizes, sauces, oils, drinks, and whether any items were shared. Include before and after photos when helpful.
Confirm what you ate
Say what you actually consumed, what was left over, and when you ate it. Review the estimated calories and macros before confirming the record.
Try saying
“This was my lunch today. I ate the chicken and half the rice, with about two tablespoons of sauce. I left the bread.”
Photo-based nutrition is an estimate, not an exact measurement. This feature is Deluxe.
